To Crunch a habit you have to take away the reward.

hab·it  [hab-it] noun
1.an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary: the habit of looking both ways before crossing the street.

Habits are made by doing the same thing over and over again until you no longer have to think in order to complete the action.

A habit has four main parts, a cue, a behavioral routine, a reward, and a craving.

Part 1 The Cue

A cue is like a button that gets pushed that starts the habit.

Part 2 The Routine

The routine is a behavior pattern.

Part 3 The Reward

The reward is what you get when you complete the routine.

Part 4 Craving

After you have done the activity and received the reward you feel compelled to do it again and again.
