Analyzer

The Analyzer:

Is it Bullying, Bugging or Conflict

The first Bully Defense Tool is the Analyzer, which asks kids to analyze their peer's actions under a mental magnifying glass by asking these important questions:

Question 1

Is the person being hurtful (physically or mentally)?

Or is he/she annoying like a bug flying around your head?

Question 2

Is the person trying to have power over you?

Question 3

Is this person doing it again and again?

If the person is being hurtful, trying to have power over you, and if the action is repetitive (done day after day), then the analyzer has determined that the other child is bullying. If not he or she may be bugging you.
